My name is Debra Coetzee, but I prefer to be called Debbie, Deb, or even Sister ‘D’. I enjoy using humor when I teach and want you to thoroughly enjoy your day with me. I am open to hearing and answering any concerns and questions you may have (We are aiming to learn, after all), so feel free to ask anything that may be bothering you.

I have forty-five years of Nursing experience, of which twenty-five have been in the Midwifery field as a registered midwife. As such, I am experienced in the field of child care and birth, and would love to share that knowledge with you.

I am an animal lover, and my family includes two rescue dogs, three cats, and my son. I enjoy reading books, preferably fiction, and my hobbies include painting, photography and sewing miniature bears.
